Quinoa Breakfast Bowl

Whole Quinoa or Quinoa Flakes make for a Wonderful Breakfast Bowls.



Quinoa Breakfast Bowl

Serves 1


Ingredients:

  • ½ cup quinoa or quinoa flakes

  • 1 cup milk or fortified dairy beverage, such as soy or almond milk

  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract (optional)

  • Fresh fruit of choice

  • Nuts & Seeds


Directions:

  1. Combine quinoa flakes milk, and vanilla in small saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Cook, stirring, for 4–6 minutes. Note whole Quinoa may take little longer to cook.

  3. Serve with fruit & nuts.
